Oil Pressure Switch

Removing






- Raise and suitably support the vehicle.

- Position a drain pan under the switch (7).

- Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the switch (7).

- Remove the oil pressure switch (7).

Installing






- Apply Volkswagen genuine parts thread sealant to the switch threads.

- Install the oil pressure switch (7).

- Connect the wiring harness electrical connector to the switch.

- Lower the vehicle.

- Start the engine and check for leaks.

- Check the engine oil level and adjust as necessary.
