Rear Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

Window Regulator

Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.

- Remove the sliding door trim panel.

- Remove the door carrier plate. Refer to => [ Carrier Plate ] Carrier Plate.

- Remove the power window motor (if equipped). Refer to => [ Power Window Motor, Sliding Door ] Service and Repair.

- Remove the regulator fasteners and remove the regulator.

Installing

- Install the regulator and fasteners.

- Install the power window motor. Refer to => [ Power Window Motor, Sliding Door ] Service and Repair.

- Install the door carrier plate. Refer to => [ Carrier Plate ] Carrier Plate.

- Install the sliding door trim panel.

- Verify the sliding door operation and adjust as necessary. Refer to => [ Sliding Door Adjustments ] Sliding Door Adjustments.

- Connect the negative battery cable.
