The Towing Recognition Control Module is located behind the left side trim panel in the luggage compartment.

The Towing recognition control module is equipped with On Board Diagnostics (OBD) which assists troubleshooting.

For troubleshooting, use Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in "Guided Fault Finding" mode.
