Height Adjustment Drive

Removing

- Remove the headrests.

- If possible, move the seat into the highest seating position.

- Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

- Remove the front seat. Refer to => [ Front Seat ] Front Seat

- Attach the seat to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

- Remove the front seat belt latch. Refer to => [ Front Seat Belt Latches ] Front Seat Belt Latches

- Remove the trim on the tunnel side. Refer to => [ Tunnel Side Trim ] Tunnel Side Trim

- Remove the trim on the door sill side. Refer to => [ Door Sill Side Trim ] Door Sill Side Trim

- Remove the bracket, trim, door sill side. Refer to => [ Door Sill Side Trim Bracket ] Door Sill Side Trim Bracket

- Remove the wiring harnesses from the seat lower frame.

- Disconnect the wiring harness form the seat height adjustment motor.

- Remove the screw - 1 - (6 +/- 2 Nm).






- Remove the screw - 2 - (6+2 Nm).

- Remove the drive - 3 - from the seat frame.

Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.
