Front Passenger Map/Reading Lamp and Driver Map/Reading Lamp

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409)

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( (VAS 3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

- Remove interior lamp. Refer to => [ Front Interior and Reading Lamps ] Front Interior and Reading Lamps.

- Rotate lamp socket - arrows - of malfunctioning reading light 90° toward left.






- Remove socket with light bulb out of reading lamp.

- Carefully pull the bulb out of the socket.






- Replace the glass base bulb (12V, 5 W).

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
