Radiator: Description and Operation
Radiator Overview
• Coolant hose connection diagram. Refer to => [ Coolant Hose Connection Diagram ] [1][2]Cooling System.
1 Upper Coolant Hose
• Secured to the radiator with a retaining clip.
• Ensure the hose is securely seated.
2 Radiator
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Radiator ] Service and Repair.
• After replacing, replace entire amount of coolant.
3 Air Conditioning (A/C) Condenser
4 Oil Cooler
• For the transmission fluid.
5 Oil Cooler
• For the power steering fluid.
6 Lock Carrier
7 Bolts
• 10 Nm
8 Radiator
• For the generator and fuel cooling.
9 Bolts
• 10 Nm
10 Rubber Bushing
11 Retaining Clip
• Check the clip for securely seated.
12 Rubber Bushing
13 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (on Radiator) (G83)
• If necessary release pressure in the cooling system before removing.
14 Lower Coolant Hose
• Secured to the radiator with a retaining clip.
• Ensure the hose is securely seated.
15 Junction Piece for the Coolant Hose from the Expansion Tank
