Oil Pump

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Long Nose Locking Pliers (VAS 6226)

Removing

- Remove the lower oil pan. Refer to => [ Lower Oil Pan ] Lower Oil Pan.

- Remove the oil baffle - item 3 -=> [ Oil Baffle ] Oil Pump and Lower Oil Pan Overview.

- Remove the bolts - 1 -.





- Hold the oil pump driveshaft - 2 - using the (VAS 6226) and push it against the spring force.

- Remove the oil pump.

• The oil pump driveshaft remains installed.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• Replace the seals and O-rings.
