Seat Height Adjustment Unit

The following describes removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.






1 Clip

2 Seat height adjustment handle lever

3 Seat height adjustment unit

4 Bolt - 8 Nm

5 Nut - 12 Nm

6 Retaining plate

7 Screws - 8 Nm

• Quantity: 2

Removing

- Remove the seat => [ Front Seat ] Front Seat.

- Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

- Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

• Seat position setting: highest seat position

- Remove seat trim:

• partially electric => [ Partial Power Seat Trim ] Partial Power Seat Trim

• Height-adjustable => [ Height-Adjustable Seat Trim ] Height-Adjustable Seat Trim

- Remove nut - 5 -.

- Remove the two bolts - 7 -.

- Remove the screw - 4 -.

- Remove seat height adjustment unit - 3 - and retaining plate - 6 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Ensure retaining plate - 6 - contacts location on backrest frame marked with - arrow -.

- Make sure the clip - 1 - is positioned on seat height adjustment handle lever - 2 -. Note the installation position.
