2 Engine Control Module (ECM)
3 Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch -F125- => [ Multi-Function Transmission Range Switch ] See Image Below.
• Located on the upper side of the transmission
4 Valve body => [ Valve Body ] See Image Below.
• Bolted to the underside of transmission and is covered by the transmission oil pan
5 Sensor wiring harness => [ Sensor Wiring Harness ] See Image Below.
• With transmission fluid temperature sensor -G93-
• Secured to the valve body in the transmission
6 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor -G93- => [ Sensor Wiring Harness ] See Image Below.
• Secured to the valve body in the transmission
• Integrated to sensor wiring harness
7 Solenoid valve wiring harness => [ Solenoid Valve Wiring Harness ] See Image Below.
• Secured to valve body in the transmission
8 Electronic Ignition Switch -D9- => [ Electronic Ignition Lock ] See Image Below.
The following components are integrated (depending on
vehicle equipment) into the electronic ignition lock:
• Access/Start Authorization Switch -E415-

• Ignition Switch Key Lock Solenoid -N376-

• Installed beside the steering column in the instrument panel

10 - Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor -G182- => [ Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor and Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor ] See Image Below.
• Installed above the valve body in transmission housing

11 - Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor -G195- => [ Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor and Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor ] See Image Below.
• Installed above the valve body in transmission housing

12 - Shift Lock Solenoid -N110- => [ Shifter Assembly Overview ] See Image Below.
• Location: Shift lock solenoid is located in the shift mechanism.

13 - Tiptronic Switch -F189- => [ Tiptronic Switch ] See Image Below.
• The Tiptronic switch is integrated in the shift mechanism

14 - Power supply relay (terminal 50) -J682-
• In E-box in engine compartment

15 - Data Link Connector (DLC)
• Located on left side under driver-side storage compartment

• Located in the instrument cluster

The following is located on the selector mechanism:
• Shift Lock Solenoid -N110-

The solenoid is permanently installed in the shift selector mechanism
and cannot be replaced separately. Removal and installation is only possible
in conjunction with selector mechanism
