Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Gauge (T10391)

• Socket (T10058)

• Side Window Installation Tool (V.A.G 1739)

• Socket wrench (T10471)

• Prior to adjusting the door window, the setting of the door with respect to the body and the correct seating of the seal in the roof molding must be checked and adjusted if necessary.

• The vehicle must be on a level surface on the ground.

• Step 1: adjust the fixed rear door window.

• Step 2: adjust the rear door window.

• Step 3: adjust the front door window.

• 4. Step 4: adjust the B-pillar trim.

• Door window adjustment sequence: 1. basic height adjustment, 2. adjustment in longitudinal direction, 3. check of height, adjustment if necessary, 4. angle adjustment.
