Rear Lid, Adjusting

The rear lid can only be adjusted slightly at the hinge threaded connection to make it flush to side pieces. Gap dimensions are adjusted via the lower threaded connections on the hinge.

The roof must be closed to adjust the rear lid.

After adjusting rear lid, ensure front "points" or rear lid have enough clearance to side panel when opening.






Flush Adjustment

- Remove screws - 5 - and nuts - 4 - and slide rear lid into elongated holes.

- Tighten screws and nuts.

Bolt - 5 - and nut - 4 - tightening specification: 22 Nm.

- Check adjustment and function of striker pin with closing aid to rear lid lock and striker pin to securing frame lock.

The illustration shows bolts with rear lid open. Bolts are loosened with rear lid tipped back.






Adjusting height

- Run roof with convertible top operating button until rear lid with rear shelf tips back.

- Remove screws - 5 - on left and right securing frame - 4 -.

- Close roof.

- Remove screw - 3 - and adjust rear lid.

- Tighten the bolt - 3 - first. Tightening specification: 20 Nm.

- Run roof with convertible top operating button until rear lid with rear shelf tips back.

- Tighten bolts - 5 -. Tightening specification: 20 Nm.
