Turn Signal and Entry Lamp Inside Exterior Mirror

• The following describes removing and installing the left turn signal. Removing and installing the right turn signal is identical.

• LEDs with a long service life are installed in the side turn signals instead of standard bulbs.

• It is not necessary to replace the LED. The entire turn signal must be replaced if damaged.

Removing

• The lower housing part and the turn signal form one component.






Removing Turn Signals

- Mirror Glass, Removing, refer to => [ Mirror Glass ] Mirror Glass

- Remove trim. Refer to => [ Trim ] Trim

- Remove the mirror housing. Refer to => [ Mirror Housing ] Mirror Housing

- Release retaining hooks - 4 -

- Remove turn signal - 2 - from the mirror base plate.

Removing Entry Lamp

The lower housing part must be removed in order to remove the entry lamp.

- Lift entry lamp - 2 - slightly - arrow a - and then remove the entry lamp from lower housing part - 2 - - arrow b -.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.

• Then perform a function test.
