Passenger Compartment Climatronic







Passenger Compartment Climatronic

Disconnect the battery before removing components marked with a **.

A data plate on the lock carrier indicates the refrigerant used and capacity.






1 Dash Panel **

Removing and installing,

2 Sunlight Photo Sensor (G107) or Sunlight Photo Sensor 2 (G134)

Checking: use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) (or succeeding model).

Controls temperature door and fresh air blow depending on light intensity.

Emergency running in the event of failure: the Climatronic control module (J255) utilizes a fixed value.

3 Center Vents

Removing, refer to => [ Center Vent ] Center Vent.

4 Air Outlet

Removing, refer to => [ Driver and Passenger Side Vents ] Driver and Passenger Side Vents.

5 Right Vent Temperature Sensor (G151)

Checking: use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) (or succeeding model).

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Right Vent Temperature Sensor (G151) ] Right Vent Temperature Sensor (G151).

6 Front A/C Display Control Head (E87) with Climatronic Control Module (J255) , Through 18 May 2008

The Climatronic Control Module and the Front A/C Display Control Head are one component that cannot be disassembled.

Checking: use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) (or succeeding model).

Replacing: perform a basic setting using the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) (or succeeding model). Refer to=> [ Checking and Adjusting Components ] Checking and Adjusting Components.

7 Front A/C Display Control Head (E87) with Climatronic Control Module (J255) , From 25 May 2008

The Climatronic Control Module and the Front A/C Display Control Head are one component that cannot be disassembled.

8 Air Flow Door Motor (V71)

Checking: use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) (or succeeding model).

9 Recirculation Door Motor (V113)

Checking: use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) (or succeeding model).

10 Right Footwell Vent

11 Fresh Air Blower (V2) with Fresh Air Blower Control Module (J126)

The fresh air blower control module and the fresh air blower are in a single housing together and cannot be replaced individually.

Checking: use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) (or succeeding model).

13 Heating Unit Partition

Only in vehicles without air duct to vent installed in center console at rear.

15 Dust and Pollen Filter

With EVAP canister.

19 Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor (G263) or Evaporator Temperature Sensor (G308)

20 Right Temperature Door Motor (V159)
