Front Turn Signal Bulbs

During removal and installation, leave ignition key with remote control inside the vehicle to prevent the doors from locking and possibly activating the Coming Home / Leaving Home functions on its own.

Removal

In order to be able to replace the bulb, it is sometimes necessary to remove neighboring components at the corresponding headlamp.

- Refer to the following table as to which components are to be removed depending on engine version, in order to replace the bulb.






The following figures show the replacement of the right headlamp bulb.

The left headlamp bulb is replaced is the same way.

- Twist off housing cover - 4 -.






The bulb socket - 2 - is secure to the reflector - 1 - with a bayonet connection.






- Rotate lamp socket - 2 - with the front turn signal bulb counterclockwise and remove it from the reflector.

- Push front turn signal light - 2 - into socket - 1 - and rotate front turn signal light in direction of arrow.






- Remove Front Turn Signal Light - 2 - from socket - 1 -.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:






- When installing, ensure bulb socket retaining tab - A - is inserted in the reflector groove - B -.

The tab - arrow A - must face upward during installation.

- Then press bulb socket against reflector and tighten socket by turning clockwise.

When installing housing cover, check for proper fitting. It is destroyed by entry of water into headlamp.

- Check headlamp for function.
