Recirculation Door Motor (V113)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) (or succeeding model)

Perform the following work first:

- Turn off all electric consumers.

- Switch off the ignition.

- Remove the key.

Removal

- Remove the glove compartment.






- Mark the connector - A - if necessary (this prevents confusion if several connectors are disconnected at the same time).

- Disconnect connector - A -.

- Open the retainers - C - and - D - and remove the bracket - B - (toward the rear).






- Remove the motor - A - from the air intake shroud.

Installation






- Check shaft of recirculation door - C - before installing control motor - A -.

- Hold the shaft - C - so that the motor connecting element - D - can be installed.

- Insert control motor with connecting element - D - into shaft - C - and mounts at intake housing - B -.






- Install the bracket - A -. When doing this, make sure the guide - B - fits correctly into the mount - C - and the bracket locks with the two retainers - D - and - E -.

- Install the removed parts in the opposite order.

• After installing, function of recirculation door must be checked.

• Start the Basic Setting function with Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B). Refer to=> [ Checking and Adjusting Components ] Checking and Adjusting Components.
