Daytime Running and Parking Lamp LED Module (L176)/(L177)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque Screwdriver (VAS 6494) or equivalent

The daytime running lamp module LED and the parking lamp are a complete single component and cannot be serviced. If the one of the LEDs in the module is faulty, then it is necessary to replace the complete component.

Removal

Removing and installing is shown on the left side of the vehicle. Removing and installing the Right LED parking lamp/DRL module (L177) on the right side of the vehicle is identical.

- Remove front bumper cover.

- Disconnect the connector - 1 - for the daytime running lamp module LED and parking lamp from the front air guide - 2 -.






- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.

- Remove the air guide grille - 1 -.






- Remove screws - 1 -.






- Remove the daytime running lamp module and parking lamp LED - 1 - from the bumper.






- Guide the wiring harness - 3 - through the opening in the bumper - 2 -.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Install the daytime running lamp and parking lamp LED module into the opening in the bumper and tighten the screws - 1 -.






- Install the air guide grille - 1 -.

- Connect the connector - 1 - and attach the wiring harness to the front air guide grille - 2 -.






- Install front bumper cover.

Make sure the daytime running lamp and parking lamp LED module is working correctly.

Tightening Specifications
