Hood Hinge: Service and Repair

Hood Hinge

• Removing and installing the right hinge is described. Removing and installing the left hinge is identical.

Removing

• The caps - 2 - are not available for all markets.






- Remove the hood. Refer to => [ Hood ] Hood.

- Remove plenum chamber cover. Refer to => [ Plenum Chamber Cover ] Plenum Chamber Cover.

- Remove the caps - 2 - from the bolts.

- Remove the bolts - 3 -.

- Remove the hinge - 1 -.

Installation

• The caps - 2 - are not available for all markets.






Install the hinge - 1 - in reverse order of removal.

- Bolt tightening specification - 3 -: 22 Nm.

- Install hood. Refer to => [ Hood ] Hood.
