Selector Forks Overview

The selector fork group (- item 7 -) does not need to be disassembled to remove and install shift segments, lock washers and angular contact ball bearings.






1 5th Gear Shift Segment

Identification, refer to => [ Shift Segment Identification ] Selector Forks.

The shift segment must still rotate easily after the lock washer is installed.

2 Lock Washer

Always replace.

Removing, refer to => [ Removing the Lock Washer ] Selector Forks.

Installing, refer to => [ Installing the Lock Washer ] Selector Forks.

3 5th Gear Selector Fork

4 Bolt, 25 Nm

5 5th Gear Shift Jaw

6 Angular Contact Ball Bearing

Quantity: 4

Removing, refer to => [ Removing the Angular Contact Ball Bearing ] Selector Forks.

Pressing the bearing inner race into the outer race. Refer to => [ Installing the Angular Contact Ball Bearing Inner Race into the Outer Race ] Selector Forks.

Installing, refer to => [ Installing the Angular Contact Ball Bearing into the Selector Fork ] Selector Forks.

8 1st/2nd Gear Shift Segment

Identification, refer to => [ Shift Segment Identification ] Selector Forks.

The shift segment must still rotate easily after the lock washer is installed.

9 3rd/4th Gear Shift Segment

Identification, refer to => [ Shift Segment Identification ] Selector Forks.

The shift segment must still rotate easily after the lock washer is installed.
