Anti-Theft Alarm System Overview

• Components of Anti-Theft Alarm System are dependent on vehicle equipment.






1 Alarm Horn (H12)

• Inside the right front wheel housing.

• Checking, refer to => [ Vehicle Electrical System Control Module, Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) ] Vehicle Electrical System Control Module, Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM).

• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Alarm Horn (H12) ] Alarm Horn (H12).

2 Front Passenger Door Contact Switch (F3)

• In Front Passenger Door Central Locking Lock Unit (F221).

3 Anti-Theft Alarm System Sensor (G578)

• Includes the vehicle level sensor (G384) / interior monitoring sensor (G273).

• In roof console.

4 Interior Monitoring Deactivation Switch (E267)

• Inside the B-pillar trim on the driver side.

• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Interior Monitoring and Vehicle Inclination Deactivation Switch (E267)/(E360) ] Interior Monitoring and Vehicle Inclination Deactivation Switch (E267)/(E360).

5 Driver Door Contact Switch (F2)

• In Driver Door Central Locking Lock Unit (F220).

6 Rear Lid Lock Unit (F256)

• Checking, refer to => [ Rear Lid Lock Unit (F256) Checking, from MY 10 ] Testing and Inspection.

• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Rear Lid Unlock Unit (F256) ] Rear Lid Unlock Unit (F256).

7 Left Rear Door Control Module (J388)

• Inside the left rear door.

8 Driver Door Control Module (J386)

• In driver door.

9 Central Locking -SAFE- Indicator Lamp (K133)

• Inside the driver door trim panel.

• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Central Locking -SAFE- Indicator Lamp (K133) ] Central Locking -SAFE- Indicator Lamp (K133).

10 Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519)

• Behind the instrument panel on the driver side on the relay panel.

• Contains the central locking and anti-theft alarm system antenna (R47).

11 Right Rear Door Control Module (J389)

• Inside the right rear door.

12 Front Passenger Door Control Module (J387)

• In front passenger door.

13 Front Hood Switch (F266)

• In hood lock.
