Instrument Panel Center Vents

Removal

- Turn off the ignition.

- Remove the trim in the center of the instrument panel (Jetta from MY 2010, Golf Wagon from MY 2010). Refer to => [ Instrument Panel Center Trim ] Instrument Panel Center Trim.

Vehicles with a Storage Compartment in the Center of the Instrument Panel

- Remove the radio, if equipped.

- Remove the storage compartment in the center of the instrument panel (Jetta from MY 2010, Golf Wagon from MY 2010). Refer to => [ Center Storage Compartment in Instrument Panel ] Center Storage Compartment in Instrument Panel.

Vehicles with a Radio/Navigation System

- Remove the radio/navigation system. Refer to

All Vehicles

- Remove the two bolts - 2 - (1.5 Nm).

- Remove the four clips - arrows - using the (3409), and remove the center vent from the instrument panel - 1 -.

- Disconnect the connector on the Emergency Flasher Switch (E3) and remove the center vent.





Installation

- To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.
