Removing

- Remove lock cover.

- Remove rear lid trim.

- Remove cover cap - 1 -.





- Disconnect harness connector - 2 - from lid lock - 5 -.

- Disengage release - 3 -.

- Remove hex nuts - 4 - and remove rear lid lock - 5 -.

- If lid lock - 5 - is to be replaced, disengage release - 6 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening specification for hex nuts: 8 Nm

• Before the rear lid is closed, a function test of the unlocking components must be performed.
