Drive Axle 12 Point Bolt, Loosening and Tightening






Tightening

- Replace the bolt.

• The wheels may not yet touch the ground for tightening the drive axle, otherwise the wheel bearing may be pre-damaged.

- Press the brake pedal (second mechanic required).

- Tighten the bolt to 70 Nm.

- Lower the vehicle onto its wheels.

- Tighten the bolt an additional 90°.
