Drive Axle Hex Bolt, Loosening and Tightening





Tightening

- Replace the bolt.

• The wheels may not yet touch the ground for tightening the drive axle, otherwise the wheel bearing may be pre-damaged.

- Press the brake pedal (second mechanic required).

- Tighten the bolt to 200 Nm.

- Lower the vehicle onto its wheels.

- Turn the bolt an additional 180°.
