12 V Socket Replacement


Using force to remove Sockets (U) without Socket Illumination Bulb (L42) can result in damage to the mounting sleeve retainers.

Only Sockets (U) ( Cigarette Lighter (U1) ) with a Socket Illumination Bulb can be removed using the Release Tool For Cigarette Lighter (T40148).

The (T40148) cannot unlock the tabs on Sockets without illumination.

Sockets without a Socket Illumination Bulb will usually get damaged when being removed.
