Removing

• If the rear lid does not open, use the emergency release - 4 - inside the rear lid trim panel to open it manually. Refer to the Owner's Manual.






- Remove the rear lid trim panel.

- Disconnect the connector - 3 -.

- Remove the screws - 1 - and remove rear lid latch - 1 - from rear lid.

Installation






- Position the rear lid latch - 1 - on the rear lid and install the screws - 2 -.

- Tightening specifications: Bolts - 2 - 24 Nm.

- Connect harness connector - 3 - to lid lock - 1 -.

Further installation is in reverse order of removal.

• Perform a function test on the unlocking components before closing the rear lid.
