- Remove the screw - 4 - and move the rear wheel housing liner - 3 - to the side.

- Remove the bolts - 2 -.

- Remove the sill panel cover - 1 -.

• Check the expanding nuts - 3 and 4 - for damage and replace if necessary => [ (Item 3) Expanding nuts ] Description and Operation.


Check the gas-tight expanding nuts - 4 - for damage and replace if necessary. => [ (Item 4) Expanding nuts ] Description and Operation

The expanding nuts seal off the passenger compartment from exhaust gas and must always be replaced if they are damaged.

- Install the sill panel cover - 1 - and tighten the screws - 2 -.

- Position the wheel housing liner - 5 - and tighten the screw - 6 -.
