Towing Recognition Control Module (J345) Output Diagnostic Test Mode Bulbs, from MY 10

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trailer socket tester (VAS 5800)

The wiring guides for the towing recognition control module (J345) to the trailer socket (U10) are checked with this test.

Procedure

- Connect the Vehicle diagnostic tester.

- Select Guided Fault Finding.

- Use the GO TO button to select the "function/component selection" and the following menu options one after the other:

• Body

• Body repair procedures

• 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems

• 69 - Towing recognition J345

• Towing recognition functions

• Output diagnostic test mode bulbs
