Seat Height Adjusting Element

Removal

• Due to equipment variations, small deviations must be considered during removal and installation.

• Before removing, the seat must be brought to the highest position in order to release the tension on the tension springs -=> [ (Item 16) Tension Spring ] Front Seats Overview- to the greatest extent possible.





- Remove seat.

- Unscrew the bolt -=> [ (Item 2) Bolt ] Front Seats Overview- and unclip the trim -=> [ (Item 1) Seat Trim ] Front Seats Overview-.

- Unclip two caps -=> [ (Item 11) Cover ] Front Seats Overview-, unscrew two bolts -=> [ (Item 12) Bolt ] Front Seats Overview-, and remove the adjustment lever -=> [ (Item 13) Adjusting Lever ] Front Seats Overview-.

- Unscrew the bolt -=> [ (Item 17) Bolt ] Front Seats Overview- and unclip the trim -=> [ (Item 14) Seat Trim ] Front Seats Overview-.





- Carefully unhook tension spring - 2 -.

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and pull seat height adjustment - 1 - out of the seat frame.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

• The tightening torque of the bolts - arrows - is 10 Nm.
