Front Seat Belts with Belt Tensioner Assembly Overview

CAUTION!
Belt tensioner units must be removed before starting any repairs.





1 - Belt Height Adjustment

To remove the height adjuster, the upper B-pillar trim must be removed first.

The belt tensioner is secured by loosening the hex bolt and conversely made ready for function again (does not apply to electrical tensioners)

12 - Seat Belt with Belt Tensioner

Two different belt tensioners are installed: Electrical belt tensioners in vehicles with side airbags and mechanical belt tensioners in vehicles without side airbags.

For removal, remove the side trim.

The retaining tab determines the position of the automatic belt retractors.

The belt tensioner is secured by loosening the hex bolt and conversely made ready for function again (does not apply to electrical tensioners)

The disposal of old components that have not been triggered is performed by the distribution center or the importer.
