Removing






- Remove the wiper arms.

- Remove the seal - 4 - from the plenum chamber covers - 1 and 2 -.

- Remove the retaining clips - 3 - from the plenum chamber cover and from the plenum chamber bulkhead.

- Starting in the center, carefully remove the plenum chamber covers - 1 and 2 - upward from the binding profile- 7 -.

• Always begin with the upper plenum chamber cover.

Installation

• New windshields have an insert in the retainer. Remove the insert before installing the plenum chamber cover.

• Press the plenum chamber cover into the binding profile lightly by hand. Do not use a tool.






- Spray the retainer - 5 - with soapy water to make it easier to install the plenum chamber covers - 1 and 2 -.

- Place the plenum chamber covers - 1 and 2 - onto the binding profile - 7 - and, starting in the center, lightly clip the plenum chamber covers into the binding profile.

• Always begin with the lower plenum chamber cover.

- Secure the plenum chamber cover to the plenum chamber bulkhead with the retaining clips - 3 -.

- Press the seal - 5 - onto the plenum chamber cover.
