• If necessary release the pressure in the cooling system before removing.

• Make sure it is secure.

• Not installed.

19 Non-Return Valve
• Pay attention to the installed position.
• The arrow on the check valve points in the direction of flow.

22 to the Transmission Oil Cooler
• If installed.
23 Recirculation Pump (V55)
• Attached to the accessory bracket, 8 Nm
• Removing the accessory bracket, refer to => [ Accessory Bracket ] Service and Repair.
• Component location of the recirculation pump.
24 Bolt
• 5 Nm
25 Coolant Thermostat
• Starts to open at 80 °C (176 °F).
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coolant Thermostat ] Service and Repair.
26 Coolant Line
• With the coolant thermostat housing.
27 Seal
• Always replace.

• 8 Nm
29 Coolant Pump Pulley
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coolant Pump ] Service and Repair.

• Check for ease of movement.

Component Location of the Recirculation Pump
The recirculation pump - arrow - is bolted to the accessory bracket.
- Removing the accessory bracket from the cylinder block. Refer to => [ Accessory Bracket ] Service and Repair.
