The following are required for fault finding:


• Manual multimeter V.A.G 1526 C

• Measuring equipment set V.A.G 1594 G and measuring equipment set V.A.G 1594 C

• Circuit diagram for the solar sun roof

• Repair manual for Passat external body assembly work

• Passat operating manual



Test prerequisites:


• The solar sun roof must be clean!

• No luggage racks or other accessories may be mounted on the roof!

• Sliding/tilting roof is mechanically in good working order!

• The outdoor temperature must be higher than 10 degrees Celsius and there should be sufficient sunshine!
