Fuel Level Sensor 2, Removing and Installing

- Suction Jet Pump, Tiguan, Removing and Installing => [ Suction Jet Pump, Removing and Installing ] Suction Jet Pump, Removing and Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Welding wire (2 mm material strength)

- Bend an 80 mm long welding wire as shown.





Dimension - a -: 10 mm

Dimension - b -: 70 mm

Removing

- Disconnect the connectors for the Fuel Level Sensor 2 (G169) - 2 -.

- Press the welding wire - 1 - in - direction of the arrow - into the opening under the sensor.





- At the same time, slide the Fuel Level Sensor 2 (G169) - 2 - in the - direction of the arrow - from the guides.

Installing

- Install Fuel Level Sensor 2 (G169) into the guides and push it down until it latches.

- Connect connector and check for secure locking.

- Install the suction jet pump => [ Suction Jet Pump, Removing and Installing ] Suction Jet Pump, Removing and Installing.
