Seat Riser







Seat Riser

On leather trimmed seats, the cushion cover can be removed from the cushion foam pad. On cloth trimmed seats, the cushion cover does not separate from the cushion foam pad.

Removing






- Remove the seat from the vehicle and place it on a workbench. Refer to => [ Seat ] Seat.

- Remove the seat back frame. Refer to => [ Seat Back Frame ] Seat Back Frame.

- Remove the seat cushion cover and foam. Refer to => [ Seat Cover and Cushion ] Seat Cover and Cushion.

- Remove the elastic cushion support (1) from the seat cushion frame.






- Remove the nuts (2) securing the seat cushion frame (1) to the seat riser (3) and remove the cushion frame from the riser.






- Remove the nuts (2) securing each seat track (1) to the riser and remove the seat tracks as required.

Installing






- Install the seat tracks (1) to the riser as required and install the nuts (2). Tighten the nuts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).






- Position the seat cushion frame (1) onto the seat riser (3) and install the nuts (2). Tighten the nuts to 30 Nm (22 ft lbs).






- Install the elastic cushion support (1) onto the seat cushion frame.

- Install the seat foam and cushion cover. Refer to => [ Seat Cover and Cushion ] Seat Cover and Cushion.

- Install the seat back frame. Refer to => [ Seat Back Frame ] Seat Back Frame.

- Install the seat. Refer to => [ Seat ] Seat.
