Short Runner Valve Solenoid

Removing






- The short runner valve (1) is located on the left side of the upper intake manifold.






- Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) from the SRV solenoid (2).

- Remove the SRV solenoid bolts (1).

- Carefully pull the SRV solenoid (2) straight out of the intake manifold.

Installing






- Position SRV solenoid (1) into intake manifold. Align the SRV solenoid shaft into notch (2).






- Rotate the SRV solenoid until the notch (4) on the SRV solenoid is aligned to the notch (5) on the intake manifold.

- Install the SRV solenoid bolts (1).

- Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) to the SRV solenoid (2).
