Connecting Rod Nut/Bolt Torque

Install the connecting rod cap bolts following this three step torque plus angle method:

Step 1: Tighten both bolts to 7 Nm (5 ft. lbs).

Step 2: Tighten both bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs).

Step 3: Tighten both bolts an additional 90°.
