Cylinder Head Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specifications






- Tighten the cylinder head bolts in the following sequence 1 through 8.

• First step, tighten to 61 Nm (45 ft lbs).

• Second step, tighten to 88 Nm (65 ft lbs).

• Third step, tighten again to 88 Nm (65 ft lbs).

• Final step, tighten an additional 1/4 turn. Do not use a torque wrench for this step.
