Power Steering Return Lines, Possible Leak

Customer may experience leaks in power steering return line at cold start up, in temperatures of -40°C(-40°F), and increased steering efforts or noisy power steering pump.

Technical Background

This bulletin involves removing and replacing the gear to cooler power steering return hose with a Kevlar(R) braded return hose.

Production Solution

Improved power steering return hose introduced after Nov. 22, 2010.
