B222C: Diagnosis and Testing
B222C - Vehicle Configuration Not Programmed
For a complete wiring diagram, refer to.
• When Monitored: With the ignition ON.
• Set Condition: The totally integrated power module is not configured correctly to the vehicle.
Test Step 1 - Test For Active DTCs
• With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
• Cycle the ignition switch from OFF to ON at least 5 times, leaving the ignition ON for a minimum of 90 seconds per cycle.
• With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?
Yes
• Go to Test Step 2.
No
• If the DTC is stored, test for an intermittent condition. Visually inspect the related wiring harness connectors. Look for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded terminals.
Test Step 2 - Configure the TIPM to the Vehicle
• With the scan tool enter program network configuration and program the TIPM to the vehicle configuration.
• With the scan tool, erase TIPM DTCs.
• Cycle the ignition switch from OFF to ON at least 5 times, leaving the ignition ON for a minimum of 90 seconds per cycle.
• With the scan tool, read the Active DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?
Yes
• Inspect the wiring and connectors for damage or shorted circuits. If OK, replace and program the totally integrated power module.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to => Non-DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior
No
• Repair is complete.
