Left Power Sliding Door Module

B2273 - Power Sliding Door Module Identification Circuit

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to.

This code can set if a module from another vehicle was installed that had originally been from the opposite side (Left/Right side). This test is for a Left side module.

When Monitored: Whenever the battery is connected.

Set Condition: When the Left (Driver side) Power Sliding Door Module looses the Left Side Identifier Jumper (ground) circuit, for over one second, this code will set.

Test Step 1 - DTC PRESENT

With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs.

Cycle the ignition switch from On to Off.

Wait 30 seconds.

Turn the ignition on.

With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Does the scan tool display this DTC?

No

Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals and correct pin tension.

Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to=> Non-DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior

Gain access to and disconnect the Left Power Sliding Door Module 6 way connector. See Service Information for removal procedure if necessary.

Measure the resistance of the (D85) Left Side Identifier Jumper (between cavities 1 and 4 in the harness connector).

Is the resistance below 1.0 Ohm?

No

Repair or replace the Left Power Sliding Door Harness.

Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to=> Non-DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior
