Test Step 1 - Engine DTCs Present

• With the scan tool, read Engine DTCs.

Are there any Engine DTCs present?

Yes

• Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure. Refer to => Engine DTC-Based Diagnostics.

No

• Using the schematics as a guide, test the powertrain control module terminals for corrosion, damage, or terminal push out. Pay particular attention to all power and ground circuits.

• Perform Powertrain Verification Test. Refer to => Engine DTC-Based Diagnostics. PCM Verification Test
