Power Sliding Door Control Module

Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.

- Remove the power sliding door drive. Refer to => [ Power Sliding Door Drive ] Power Sliding Door Drive.

- With the power sliding door drive (2) on a work bench, disconnect the power sliding door control module (1) electrical connectors (3).






- Remove the power sliding door control module screws (1) and separate the module from the drive (2).






Installing

• Any time a power sliding door component is removed, replaced, a door adjustment is performed or diagnostic trouble codes are addressed and erased, a learn cycle must be performed. The power sliding door learn cycle enables the power sliding door control module to learn or relearn critical information (travel limits, resistance to door travel, door position, etc.) which allows the system to perform properly and safely. Refer to => [ Power Sliding Door Learn Cycle ] Testing and Inspection.

- Position the power sliding door control module onto the drive (2) and install the screws (1).






- Connect the power sliding door control module (1) electrical connectors (3).






- Install the power sliding door drive. Refer to => [ Power Sliding Door Drive ] Power Sliding Door Drive.

- Connect the battery negative cable.

- Perform the power sliding door learn cycle. Refer to => [ Power Sliding Door Learn Cycle ] Testing and Inspection.
