Removing






• Passenger side shown. Driver side similar.

- Remove the headrests, if required. Refer to => [ Headrest ] Headrest.

- Remove the armrests, if required. Refer to => [ Armrest ] Armrest.

- Remove the seat back hinge covers. Refer to => [ Seat Back Hinge Cover ] Seat Back Hinge Cover.

- Remove the bolts (1) securing the seat back to the seat back hinges (3) and remove the seat back.

Installing






• Passenger side shown. Driver side similar.

- Position the seat back to the seat back hinges (3) and install the bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to 48 Nm (35 ft lbs).

- Adjust synchronizing cable, if equipped. Refer to => [ Second and Third Row Bench Seat Back Hinge, Synchronizing Cable Adjustment ] Adjustments.

- Install the seat back hinge covers. Refer to => [ Seat Back Hinge Cover ] Seat Back Hinge Cover.

- Install the armrests, if required. Refer to => [ Armrest ] Armrest.

- Install the headrests, if required. Refer to => [ Headrest ] Headrest.
