Cylinder Head Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specifications






- Tighten the cylinder head bolts according to the following, in the sequence shown (1 through 8) to the following specifications:

• Tighten the bolts to 61 Nm (45 ft lbs).

• Tighten the bolts to 88 Nm (65 ft lbs).

• Tighten the bolts again to 88 Nm (65 ft lbs).

• Tighten the bolts and additional 90 degree turn. Do not use a torque wrench for this step.
