Steering Column Combination Switch (E595), Kostal


Follow the specified sequence when removing and installing steering column switch components. Refer to => [ Steering Column Switch Components, Removal and Installation Sequence ] Steering Column Switch Components, Removal and Installation Sequence.

Depending on equipment, the Steering Column Combination Switch consists of the following components and cannot be disassembled:

• Turn Signal Switch (E2)

• Windshield Wiper Switch (E)

• Cruise Control Switch (E45)

Removing

- Remove the steering wheel.

- Remove steering column trim.

- Remove Steering Column Electronics Control Module (J527). Refer to => [ Steering Column Electronics Control Module (J527), Kostal ] Steering Column Electronics Control Module (J527), Kostal.






- Remove the bolt - arrow - and remove the entire steering column combination switch - 1 - from the steering column switch base carrier.

Installing

- Slide the steering column combination switch (E595) onto the guides on the steering column switch base carrier.

- Install the bolt - arrow -.

- Install all components in reverse order of removal.
