Telephone System Overview

The telephone system and telephone preparation primarily differ in that the telephone system has a factory-installed cell phone. Therefore, the following overview only illustrates the complete telephone system.






1 - Multifunction Steering Wheel

2 - Instrument Cluster

3 - Telephone Microphone (R38) Microphone (R38)

For hands-free operation of telephone system.

Installed in front interior light.

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Telephone Microphone ] Service and Repair.

4 - Microphone Connector

In front light installation frame.

5 - Radio

or Radio/Navigation Display Control Module (J503) (radio navigation system)

6 - Right Speaker Group

7 - Left Speaker Group

8 - Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module (Interface Box) Voltage Supply

9 - Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module (J412) (Interface Box)

Installed below front right seat.

10 - Connector To The Cell Phone Baseplate

Installed in telephone bracket wiring harness behind instrument panel

11 - Connector To Operating Electronics Control Module

12 - Telephone Antenna (R51)

On rear of roof.
