Front and Rear Door Cover

• Removing and installing is described only for the left front and rear door. Removing and installing right front and rear door is derived accordingly from this.

Removing






- Remove the bolts - 7/8 - on the inside of the door - 2/3 -.

- Before removing, heat the cover - 1/5 - in the area of the adhesive tape - 6 - using Hot Air Blower (V.A.G 1416).

- Pull the cover - 1/5 - out of the grommets - 4 -.

Installation

• Only remove the protective film right before assembly. Processing temperature workshop temperature.

• Stand time after installing the covers approx. 4 hours at an ambient temperature of approx. 70°F (21° C).





- Remove any adhesive residue with adhesive remover (VAS 6349).

- Inspect the grommets - 4 - for damage; if necessary, replace.

- Clean the adhesive surface with adhesive remover (D 002 000 10) right before bonding the cover.

• The adhesive surface must be free of dust, grease and adhesive residue.

- Before installing, remove the protective foil from the adhesive tape - 6 -.

- Mount the cover - 1/5 - onto the vehicle and firmly press it in the area of the adhesive tape - 6 -.

- Remove the screws - 7/8 - on the inside of the door - 2/3 -.
