Headlamp Alignment Sensor: Service and Repair







HID Level Control System Sensor

The left rear level control system sensor (G76) is located on the left side of the rear axle.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Disconnect connector - arrow -.






- Remove the five bolts - 1 - and the left rear level control system sensor (G76) - 2 -.






Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

If the left rear level control system sensor (G76) is replaced, check the sensor value. Refer to => [ HID Vehicle Level Sensors, Checking ] Testing and Inspection and perform a headlamp basic setting. Refer to Headlamps, Checking and Adjusting.

If the left rear level control system sensor (G76) value is outside of tolerance, headlamp basic setting cannot be performed.

- Tighten all threaded connections to the specification shown in => [ HID Headlamp and Cornering Lamp Overview ] HID Headlamp and Cornering Lamp Overview.

- Check the Left Rear Level Control System Sensor (G76). Refer to => [ HID Vehicle Level Sensors, Checking ] Testing and Inspection.

- Perform a basic setting on the headlamp. Refer to Headlamps, Checking and Adjusting.
