Fuse Panel

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1410)

The fuse panel is located under the instrument panel inside the footwell on the driver side.


Follow the procedure in the repair information when disconnecting and connecting the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the trim in the driver footwell.

- Remove the screws - arrows - and pull the fuse panel - 1 - downward out of its bracket.






Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- First insert the fuse panel into the right side of the bracket.

- Then swivel the fuse panel upward into the left side and secure it with both screws.

Mounting bolt tightening specification: 2.5 Nm
