Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve

Removing

- Drain the coolant. Refer to => [ Draining and Filling ] Draining and Filling.

- Pull the engine cover off the 4 ball studs one after the other - arrows -.





- Remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler switch over valve (N345) - arrow - from the bracket.





- Loosen the clamp - arrow - and remove the coolant hose.





- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.





- Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the EGR valve (V338).

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• Replace O-ring.

• Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type, refer to the parts catalog.

- Fill the cooling system. Refer to => [ Draining and Filling ] Draining and Filling.
